FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before your first class at Be Kind.

I’ve never done Pilates, can I come?

Yes! Our classes suit every level. For your first session, start with a Soft class, even if you already practise another sport. Coming back after a long break? The Vitality class (Reformer) is made for you. Let your coach know at the start of class and they’ll adapt the exercises.

Do you offer a free trial class?

No. So as not to disadvantage our members or overcrowd classes, we don’t offer a free trial, but you can book a single class to discover Be Kind. Follow us on social media too: we sometimes offer discounts on packs.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes, a water bottle and non-slip socks, which are mandatory during classes. If you don’t have any, you can buy them at the studio. For Hot Pilates, bring a towel too.

What’s the difference between Reformer, Lagree and Hot Pilates?

Reformer uses a carriage and springs for full-body, low-impact strengthening. Lagree uses slow movements under constant tension for maximum intensity. Hot Pilates is practised on a mat, in a room heated by infrared to around 35 °C. Reformer is available in Sion and Martigny, Lagree and Hot Pilates only in Martigny.

How do I book a class?

Online from the schedule, from your Be Kind account or in the app. A personal account is required to book.

How late can I cancel?

Up to 12 hours before class: your credit is then returned to your account. For late cancellations or no-shows, the credit is lost.

Are my packs valid in both studios?

Yes. Your packs and single classes are valid in both Sion and Martigny: you book in the studio of your choice.

Do I need a subscription?

No. There’s no yearly commitment and no automatic renewal: you freely choose your pack. Packs are personal and non-transferable.

What if I get injured or ill?

With a medical certificate stating you cannot practise Pilates, your pack can be suspended once, for up to 6 months. Let us know straight away: the date you notify Be Kind is used as the start of the suspension, not the date on the certificate. Please also tell your coach about any medical condition before class.

Can I give classes as a gift?

Yes, with our gift cards from CHF 50 to 1,500, as a printable version or a lovely physical card to personalise at the studio.

What are the Be Kinders?

The Be Kinders Club brings together 50-class pack holders: access to the coworking space at the Martigny studio, a discount on the next pack (on request from the coaches), one free class to offer a non-member friend, and gifts in Be Kind colours.

Can I share my class pack?

No. Packs are personal and non-transferable. To introduce someone to Be Kind, think of our gift cards, or the free invitation you can offer if you’re a Be Kinder.

I’ve lost my password.

Your Be Kind account runs on bsport, our booking platform. If you already have a bsport account with another studio, it’s the same account: same login, same password, for every bsport studio. Changing your password changes it everywhere. To reset it: on the login screen, click “Forgot password”, enter your e-mail address, then click the link you receive by e-mail to choose a new password. Remember to check your spam folder.

I’m not receiving e-mail notifications.

Check your spam folder and add info@be-kind.ch to your contacts. Also check in your account (My profile) that your e-mail address is correct and that e-mail notifications are allowed. If the problem persists, write to us at info@be-kind.ch.

I’m not receiving promotional offers.

Offers are only sent if you’ve agreed to receive them. In your account, go to My profile › Edit, and allow e-mail notifications. Remember to check your spam folder and add info@be-kind.ch to your contacts.

How do I use a gift card?

Activate your card by clicking the link you received by e-mail, or enter its code at checkout. Its amount is then automatically deducted from your next purchase (pack or class). You can track the remaining balance in your account. Gift cards have an expiry date, cannot be combined unless stated otherwise and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Do you have physical gift cards?

Yes, in both our studios, in Sion and Martigny. Drop by to pick up a lovely physical card to personalise and give. A printable version is also available online.
